The 3D model above was specifically created for a 3D print. In Cinema4D you can render out images using subsurface scattering.
Subsurface Scattering simulates the scattering of light beneath the surface of objects to more accurately simulate materials such as wax, fluids, jewels, organic materials and skin. Mastering this kind of render technique takes a bit of time. Also take a look at one of my previous posts. It’s no secret, i’m fascinated by the possibilities that 3D printing technology can bring us.

3D print materials have a brittle wax look and feel, i wanted to visualize this kind of material.
