Can we use the iPad and iBooks Author to bring rich presentations to the stage?
Time for a test, weapons of choice:
The software; iBooks Author, the platform; iPad 1 and the content, in this case: TomyTones
It all goes fine until you start using the interesting features like video and 3D models.
Multiple times iBook just quits, 3d models are not shown the way they should (missing polygons).
I’m somewhat disappointed, the iBook Author software is very limited, poor documentation, for instance basic information on image/video resolution is nowhere to be found.
